How to Register for Covid-19 Vaccination on Aarogya Setu App?

1. Open the Aarogya Setu app on your android phone or iPhone.
2. There are two ways, now, to register for the vaccine, namely:
   1. Vaccination
   2. Co-win

• If you proceed by pressing the “Vaccination” Icon, this page will appear where you can enter your mobile number to get an OTP which will ultimately let you enter your details for registration.

• If you press on Co-win icon then it will open co-win portal where this type of page will be seen on your smartphone screen. This portal will provide you with a plethora of information regarding the whole vaccination programme.
• Choose “Vaccination(Login/Register)” on the screen which will also transfer you to the same screen where you can enter your number for verification.

• Before proceeding any further, Keep the following information in your mind:
• Up to four individuals can be registered for vaccination from a registered mobile number. 
• Anyone of and above 18 years of age can register for vaccination. 
• Citizens over the age of 45 can make appointments online or walk into vaccination Centres. 
• Citizens aged 18 to 44, on the other hand, must register and arrange appointments online before visiting a vaccination centre.
• In general, Every citizen is advised to register online and schedule vaccination in advance for a hassle-free vaccination experience.
• After the validation of your mobile number, this page appears on your screen. The app will ask you to fill in your Identification details from any of the following photo identification documents:
• Aadhaar card
• Driving License
• PAN Card
• Passport
• Pension Passbook
• NPR Smart Card
• Voter ID.

After filling in all the required details, Press “Submit” to submit your details and finish your registration process.

• Now, your registration process is complete. You will receive a reference ID and Secret Code. After many users complained that their vaccination certificate was generated even though they had not received a jab, the CoWin portal added the secret code feature. The secret code must be kept private and not revealed to anyone. You will need to generate the code on vaccination day in order to authenticate the entire vaccination procedure.

Instructions to Schedule your appointment for Vaccination.

• Now, check the box appearing in front of the name of the person for whom you want to book the appointment and then press the “Schedule Vaccination” Tab.

• The following screen will let you search for vaccination centres in the area of which you enter the pincode.

1. Fill in the pincode of your area, choose the date on which you want to book your appointment, select the payment preference and then press on “Find Vaccination Centre” to look for the available centres for vaccination.
